‘Severance’ and ‘The Studio’ earn Apple TV+ a record-breaking 22 Emmys

Apple TV+ has broken records at the Emmys with more wins than ever before — and with “The Studio” becoming the most-winning freshman comedy ever.

Apple TV+ had already had a record number of nominations for the 77th Emmy Awards, and then on September 7, 2025, the streamer won 15 awards during the ceremony’s first night. Now the second and higher-profile ceremony has upped that total to 22, chiefly because of drama “Severance,” and comedy “The Studio.”

“Slow Horses” won the outstanding drama directing award, but the night belonged to “The Studio” which, as a comedy in its first season, set a new Emmy record with 13 wins. Those included Outstanding Comedy Series, and Outstanding Writing.
