If you were running betas, you may need to turn that off to get the updates

Apple released iOS 26 and its companion updates worldwide on September 15 but if you running the betas, you could miss out on the full release. Here’s how to get it if you’re stuck on the beta.

The iOS 26 update has a caveat

The software brings Apple’s flashy new Liquid Glass design and deeper Apple Intelligence features. It also cuts support for older models like the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.

Updates also arrived for iPadOS, watchOS, and macOS, bringing the same design overhaul and intelligence features across the ecosystem. Millions of people are rushing to download the updates.
