Apple Unveils MacBook Pro With M5 Pro and M5 Max Chips Featuring Neural Accelerators

Apple today announced new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models featuring M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, both built on a new Fusion Architecture that bonds two third-generation 3nm dies into a single chip using advanced packaging.

Both share an 18-core CPU – 6 “super cores” (which Apple claims deliver the world’s fastest single-threaded performance) and 12 performance cores – delivering up to 30% faster pro workloads versus the M4 generation.

Like their predecessors, the new MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max are available in space black and silver colors.
