Apple today announced new fifth-generation AirPods featuring improved noise cancellation, better audio quality, lower latency, and more.
Apple says AirPods 5 deliver a richer, more detailed sound across a wider range of ear geometries. The new version also includes new active noise cancellation, which Apple says offers 50% more noise reduction than AirPods 4.
AirPods 5 are priced starting at $129, with a more advanced model featuring on-stem volume control and longer battery life starting at $149. Preorders open today, and the new models are available to buy on September 18.
