Apple Launches Creative Labs Program With The King’s Trust

Apple is partnering with UK charity The King’s Trust to launch a new education program that will help young people build careers in creative industries, Apple said today.

The Apple x King’s Trust Creative Labs will give people aged 18 to 30 the opportunity to work with Apple experts as they look into different career paths.

An initial cohort of up to 20 people is participating in specialized workshops to learn “valuable, industry-aligned skills using Apple technologies.” The educational experience started this week with music industry and creative workshops timed to the opening of Apple Music Hall at Battersea Power Station in London. Apple chairman Tim Cook and King Charles III visited Apple Music Hall to meet with attendees.

More cohorts and more sessions will follow over the next year.

Apple has worked with The King’s Trust since 2019, expanding access to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics programming to schools across the UK. Apple says it is also working with The King’s Trust on resources that will build AI literacy, creativity, and agency among educators and young people.
