Live Activities, previously exclusive to the iPhone and iPad, let you keep track of timers, orders, and whether you’re using screen recording. This is all done through a little bubble that pops up at the top of the screen.
With the PROLED MacBook Pro, announced on October 28, Apple brought Live Activities over to the Mac. “With Live Activities, users can now get timely updates at a glance, and can accept an AirDrop request or pause a song with a tap of their finger,” said Apple in the accompanying press release.
