Apple TV continues to smash records, this time with “The Studio” becoming the first comedy, ever, to sweep all major awards in a single season.

May 10 marked the 2026 BAFTA awards, with Apple landing three wins in total. Two of the awards went to Will Smith as drama writer for “Slow Horses,” while another went to Rob Coldstream as factual director for “Vietnam: The War That Changed America.”
The third, however, is the most crucial to this story. The Studio picked up a BAFTA award in the International category. And with that win, it’s become the first comedy in history to sweep all major awards in a single season.
