Apple’s first developer betas for the ’26’ generation OS update are here

Apple has issued its first developer betas for the fall operating system lineup, with initial builds of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26 available to download.

The keynote is one of the main events of WWDC, with Apple using it to introduce changes to its operating systems and ecosystem, arriving this fall. After the keynote, developers wait for the first betas of those very same operating systems to become available for testing.

Arriving a short time after the keynote, the first developer beta builds for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, macOS 26 Tahoe, and visionOS 26 are now available to developers enrolled into Apple’s beta-testing program.
