Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro event won’t be live, no matter how much you wish it to be

Apple’s employee lottery for the September iPhone launch doesn’t mean it will be a return to a live-presented event. It’ll probably be the same pre-recorded presentation with press in the room as usual.

It’s barely a month away from Apple’s regular fall event, which will see the launch of products like the iPhone 18 Pro, the iPhone Fold, and other long-rumored items. It is always a major event, with most of the tech world paying close attention.

However, with the prospect of a new CEO at the helm, there are also expectations of other changes. That can also include the September event itself.
