Qualcomm and Apple’s relationship has been in question since Apple’s release of an in-house C-series modem. While a contract between the companies is set to end in March 2027, Qualcomm is looking to use AI data centers to replace the revenue provided by Apple.
According to a report from Reuters, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon says that revenue from Apple will decline more quickly starting in the fourth quarter as due to supply constraints. The share of components used in the iPhone 18 will fall well below Qualcomm’s earlier estimate of 20%.
