Apple has unveiled its third new Apple Store in Shenzen, China, which is due to open on August 16, 2025.

The new store opens just a week after Apple made the rare move of closing a store permanently. That was the Parkland Apple Store in Dalian, Liaoning, and the new one is opening in Shenzen — a region that already has Apple research labs and also manufacturing.
“We celebrate the opening of Apple’s Qianhai Yifang City retail store [in Shenzen] with excitement,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of retail business and human resources, in a statement (in translation.) “Customers can explore Apple’s outstanding innovative achievements in this stunning new space.”
