After leaving “Foundation” fans and cast in doubt over the future of the drama, Apple TV+ has now announced a fourth season.

While Apple TV+ typically announces series renewals early, as a way to advertise its confidence in a show, “Foundation” has again only been officially picked up at the last minute. It’s not clear when the company made the decision, but even a day before the announcement, the cast were claiming not to know.
