Greyhound sequel begins filming, shifting from Atlantic to Pacific

Apple TV is moving ahead with its “Greyhound” follow-up, with Tom Hank’s naval drama set to broaden its scope from a single Atlantic traverse, to both the D-Day landings and the Pacific theater.

The film, which doesn’t have release date this time, is currently in production in Australia. Tom Hanks is penning the film and will return to reprise his role as United States Navy Commander Ernest Kraus.

The sequel will expand beyond the Atlantic setting of the first film, taking the audience from the beaches of Normandy to the battles in the Pacific theater.
