Apple’s incoming CEO John Ternus has joined Tim Cook and Eddy Cue at the invitation-only Sun Valley retreat where deals worth billions can be agreed on a handshake.

Tim Cook and Eddy Cue are both regulars at the annual event, held in Sun Valley, Idaho, by investment firm Allen & Company. This year they arrived as usual over the weekend, but as spotted by Forbes, they were joined on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, by John Ternus.
It’s not clear whether this is Ternus’s first time attending the camp, but if it isn’t, it’s certainly his first since being announced as the next Apple CEO.
