Live Translation will also work with AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2

Some of Apple’s latest features aren’t restricted to new hardware, like the new Live Translation feature for AirPods that relies on the H2 chip and Apple Intelligence on an iPhone.

Multiple AirPods models get Live Translation

AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 will both gain Live Translation thanks to their H2 processor. Of course, users will still need to have an iPhone capable of running Apple Intelligence updated to iOS 26.

Practically, this means the iPhone 15 Pro and newer.
