M6 Mac mini vs M1 Mac mini: original Apple Silicon versus the new

Apple’s new M6 Mac mini is shipping soon, and a giant leap over Apple’s first Apple Silicon Mac mini. Here’s how much has changed.

After the introduction of the M5 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, it was inevitable for Apple to bring the upgrade over to the desktop versions. That means the Mac mini has been given the spec-bump treatment once again.

However, it’s not just bringing the Mac mini to the M5 level. Apple instead took the opportunity to bring it to the M6 level.
