OWC has launched the Mercury Helios 5S, a new PCIe expansion chassis that taps the speed of Thunderbolt 5. Starting at $329.99, it delivers up to 6,000 MB/s of device bandwidth and adds pro-grade PCIe card support to Apple’s latest M-series desktops.

The Mercury Helios 5S gives users of the Mac Studio, Mac mini, or other Thunderbolt Macs a way to add internal-grade expansion externally.
