Apple’s iPods have been cloned for years, and the Sudo player is no exception. For $250 the company promises, SD music storage, USB-C connectivity, clickwheel navigation, and more. There probably won’t be streaming music service compatibility.
While it may not be the same company, designers New Matter closed in 2018 after a failed attempt to break into 3d printing. The pre-order deposit for the Sudo is $50, but a lot can happen legally and in the supply chain between now and 2027, so caveat emptor.
